Wooden Boats

The Huon Valley in Tasmania is one of the hidden treasures of Australia. The village of Franklin on the Huon River is home to the time honoured craft of Wooden Boat building and many of these hand built nautical icons can be found there. In the crisp winter light they are a joy to explore and photograph.
